On November 13, 1902, “Heart of Darkness” by Joseph Conrad is first published in one volume by William Blackwood in Edinburgh, Scotland. Previously it had been serialized.
Later, in 1940 on November 13, Walt Disney’s animated musical film “Fantasia” is first released on the first night of a roadshow at New York’s Broadway Theatre.

This eight year old blog relocated from Tumblr to WordPress in December of 2018. Raised in New Jersey, I studied at the Rhode Island School of Design. Now retired, I was a high-end fine art framer who did gallery and museum work. My interests and studies run a wide gamut which includes art, history, film history, philosophy, and oriental / indigenous cultures.
