Born on July 17, 1942, Danish artist Hans Peter Jorgensen received his BFA in Sculpture from Michigan State University in 1965; he also minored in biology and education. Jorgensen worked in various aspects of designing and construction through his life, such as cabinetry, fine leather crafts, historical restoration of Victorian-era architecture, and heritage livestock breed conservation. Since his retirement in 2007, he has devoted his time to sculpture and travel.
