“He’d grown unused to woods like this. He’d become accustomed to the Northwest, evergreen and shaded dark. Here he was surrounded by soft leaves, not needles; leaves that carried their deaths secretly inside them, that already heard the whispers of Autumn. Roots and branches that knew things.”

This eight year old blog relocated from Tumblr to WordPress in December of 2018. Raised in New Jersey, I studied at the Rhode Island School of Design. Now retired, I was a high-end fine art framer who did gallery and museum work. My interests and studies run a wide gamut which includes art, history, film history, philosophy, and oriental / indigenous cultures. My wish is that my posts pique the interest of viewers and encourage more exploration.
