Emily Barker and The Red Clay Halo, “Nostalgia”
This was the intro song for the BBC series “Wallander”, starring Kenneth Branagh as Swedish detective Kurt Wallander, investigating a series of violent and terrifying murders in the beautiful setting of Skane, southern Sweden. There is also a “Wallander” series from Sweden, starring Krister Henriksson, which I consider the better series with an equally haunting soundtrack. If you have not seen either of these, you must search them down and watch them both. Classics.
