Notes: Born in 1954, Susan Lynn Crockett was an American watercolorist who studied at Rochester Institute of Technology and Oxford University, England. Over the course of her career, Crockett produced watercolors, oil paintings, lithographs and screenprints as well as a collection of eclectic hand-crafted ornaments. Several of the original ornaments are housed in the Renwick Collection of the Smithsonian Museum in Washington, DC.
Crockett was represented by Gallery K, a contemporary gallery owned by art collectors Komei Wachi and Marc Moyens in Washington D.C. She had several successful solo exhibitions of her watercolors at Gallery K where her work was regularly shown. Susan Crockett passed away in her Maryland home in March of 2011 at the age of fifty-seven.
